What actually happens after install 12 months

Month01

Install crew arrives at 8am. Roof, racking, panels, inverter, monitor. Gone by Friday.You take a few pictures. Nothing in your routine changes.

Month02

First full bill cycle hits. The number is smaller. Net-metering credits visible on the second page.You check the monitoring app. Then forget about it.

Month06

Summer peak. The AC runs all afternoon. Your bill is still smaller than last June’s.Neighbor asks. You shrug. “It just works.”

Month12

Annual true-up arrives. You had credits to spare.You forgot solar was a topic. That’s the point.

Year one of solar:
